Teluma is an IPTV player, built natively for iOS and for Android. It plays television from playlists that you provide. Teluma includes no channels of its own — you bring an M3U/M3U8 playlist URL from a provider you are entitled to use, and Teluma gives it a fast interface with a programme guide, catch-up, favourite lists and more.
No. Teluma is a player only. It does not sell, host or provide any TV content, channels or streams. The subscription unlocks playback in the app; it unlocks no channels, because there are none to unlock. You must already have your own lawful playlist to use it.
Open Settings → Sources, add a source, and paste your M3U / M3U8 playlist URL. Teluma parses the categories, channel logos and any embedded guide link automatically.
An Xtream account is entered in the same form — host, username and password instead of a link. Where the account exposes a film catalogue, it is indexed on device with full-text search and a poster grid.
You can add several playlists and switch between them instantly. Each keeps its own guide, so two providers never show each other's schedule.
Standard M3U / M3U8 playlists over HLS, plus Xtream Codes accounts. Teluma reads the common extended attributes: channel logos (tvg-logo), groups, guide IDs (tvg-id), the guide link (url-tvg) and catch-up tags.
If your playlist advertises a guide link, Teluma attaches it automatically. You can also add an XMLTV source by hand in Settings → EPG Sources; gzip-compressed .xml.gz guides are supported and are parsed as they stream, so a large guide does not have to finish downloading before it becomes useful.
The Guide tab shows now and next with live progress bars and a seven-day calendar per channel, with every time converted to your device's timezone. If the guide you attached does not match the playlist, Teluma says so rather than silently showing the wrong schedule.
Catch-up replays programmes that already aired — up to seven days back. It works only for channels whose provider keeps an archive and advertises it in the playlist. Where a channel has it, past programmes in the Guide become playable and the scrubber spans the actual programme; live TV rewinds backwards into the archive and returns to the live edge. Where the provider offers no archive, the option does not appear.
The star opens a list picker rather than toggling a single favourite. Favourites is simply the first list, and you can make as many more as you want. You can also search across channels and hide the ones you never watch. Lists survive a playlist edit — changing a provider link does not lose them.
Three days free, then an auto-renewing subscription unlocks playback: $2.99 monthly, $14.99 for six months, or $24.99 yearly. Prices are in US dollars; your local price is set by the App Store or Google Play. Browsing your playlist, the guide and the settings stays free for good — the app never locks you out of your own configuration.
Payment is handled by Apple through your Apple Account, or by Google Play Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Full detail in the Terms of Use for iOS or Android.
On iOS: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select Teluma and cancel there.
On Android: open the Google Play app, then Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, select Teluma and cancel.
Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
You can lock a single channel or a whole category behind a PIN. Locked names disappear from every list, including the guide and search, and live in one private section that requires the PIN. That section re-locks when the app goes to the background.
The PIN is stored in the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore and never leaves your device.
Streams come directly from your provider, so playback depends on their server and your connection, not on ours. Check that the playlist URL is still valid and has not expired, check your internet connection, and test the same stream in another player.
If other channels from the same playlist work, the problem is almost always that specific stream on the provider's side. If none of them work, the playlist itself has usually expired or hit its connection limit — many providers allow only one or two simultaneous streams per account.
English, Русский and العربية, with full right-to-left layout for Arabic. The language can be switched in Settings without restarting the app.
Write to us with the device, the app version and what you were doing when it went wrong. Please do not send your playlist link — it usually contains your provider password.
